This role is responsible for producing compelling, high-quality video and photography that elevates Fairyland's brand, drives audience engagement, and supports marketing campaigns. The Multimedia Content Creator will capture dynamic, social first content across park experiences, events and programs, while also leading post-production efforts to optimize assets for digital platforms including social media, website, and email marketing. The ideal candidate combines strong storytelling instincts with technical expertise and thrives in a fast-paced, live event environment. This is a 1-year contract position, working approximately 10-15 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that includes select evenings and weekends based on event coverage needs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Capture high-quality photo and video content at Fairyland events, programs, rentals, and daily park operations, focusing on candid, joyful, and mission-driven moments Produce short-form, social-first video content optimized for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop the projects, shot lists, creative briefs, and production schedules aligned with campaign goals and messaging Guide on-camera participants—including staff, families, performers, and partners—to ensure strong lighting, framing, audio, and authentic storytelling Edit video and photography assets for multi-channel use (social media, website, digital ads, email campaigns, and internal communications) Optimize content for platform-specific performance, including formatting, captioning, and accessibility considerations Ensure brand consistency across all visual assets Maintain and organize a comprehensive, searchable media library Work cross-functionally with internal departments and external partners to coordinate shoot logistics and ensure minimal disruption to guest experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities 5+ years of experience producing multimedia content, including still photography, short-form video and long-form videos storytelling Advanced proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro or similar tools Strong technical expertise in camera operation, lighting, audio and post-production workflows Comfortable being on camera and interacting professionally with guests, vendors, and staff Demonstrated experience creating engaging content, specifically for social and digital marketing platforms Experience working directly with clients, guests, vendors and stakeholders in live environments Ability to independently manage shoots from planning through final delivery, including scheduling, logistics and on-set direction Familiarity with marketing tools, content management systems and Google Workspace Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and organization Excellent communication skills and the ability to receive and implement creative feedback Personal Attributes/Values People-orientation- able to interact effectively, politely, and productively with all types of people from all types of backgrounds and experience and in all types of situations. Impeccable integrity and honesty Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to work from home and also occasionally in an office environment. Able to perform the following duties with or without accommodation: Sit at a desk, conference room or workstation for more than three (3) hours at a time; Traverse safely over uneven terrain throughout the entirety of the 10-acre amusement park Access transportation to local, state, and national events or meetings with external stakeholders Communicate in clear speaking voice in person, before large audiences and over audio or video-based communications applications (e.g. phone, Zoom) Able to occasionally lift 40-50 pounds with assistance Able to work special events, weekends and evenings according to Fairyland's event schedule Current
