5-10 hours per week to start, with potential to increase up to approximately 30 hours per week after a 30-day trial period About Hello Studios Hello Studios is a full-service podcast and video production studio based in downtown Dallas. We help businesses, entrepreneurs, creators, and organizations produce high-quality podcasts, video content, live streams, remote recordings, and on-location productions. We are looking for a dependable and technically skilled Podcast Producer / Videographer to support studio recordings, client sessions, video production, remote recordings, live streams, and occasional on-location shoots. Position Overview This is a part-time W2 role that will begin on an as-needed basis at approximately 5-10 hours per week during the initial 30-day trial period. After the trial period, we will reevaluate performance, reliability, production quality, client communication, role fit, and business needs to determine whether the schedule may increase up to approximately 30 hours per week . This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable running podcast/video sessions, working directly with clients, handling cameras/audio/lighting, and supporting a professional studio environment.
Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:
Running podcast and video recording sessions Preparing studio rooms before client arrival Setting up cameras, microphones, lighting, and audio equipment Performing audio, video, lighting, and connection checks before each session Supporting clients and guests during recordings Monitoring audio and video quality during sessions Supporting remote podcast/video recordings using Riverside.fm or similar platforms Supporting live streaming productions using OBS, Ecamm Live, or similar tools Supporting off-site and on-location video productions when scheduled Offloading, organizing, labeling, and delivering files Uploading files to Dropbox or other delivery platforms Resetting studio rooms after each session Supporting editing assignments as needed Reporting equipment, workflow, or client issues promptly Representing Hello Studios professionally with clients, guests, and partners Requirements The ideal candidate should have experience with: Podcast production Video production Sony cameras or similar mirrorless/cinema cameras Audio setup and microphone placement Basic lighting setup Multi-camera recording Client-facing production work File organization and media management Basic editing workflow Preferred Experience Bonus experience includes: Sony FX30, FX3, or Sony mirrorless camera experience Riverside.fm or remote recording platforms OBS, Ecamm Live, or live streaming tools Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software Podcast studio work Corporate video production YouTube content production Short-form social media content Event or on-location production Drone, gimbal, or advanced camera equipment experience Schedule This role will start at approximately 5-10 hours per week during the initial 30-day trial period. Hours will be scheduled based on client bookings, production needs, editing assignments, studio coverage, remote recordings, live streaming needs, on-location shoots, and overall business demand. Schedule may include daytime, evening, night, and weekend work depending on client bookings and production needs. Additional hours are not guaranteed and will depend on performance, client demand, company needs, and available production workload.

Benefits During the initial 30-day trial period, benefits are not available. If the role increases to approximately 30 hours per week after the trial period, the employee may become eligible for certain benefits, subject to company policy and plan requirements.
