Videographer/Editor

Sunbreak is a commercial film studio based in Los Angeles. We make brand films, campaigns, and commercials for businesses that care about how their work performs, not just how it looks. We're growing our roster of videographers and editors. This is a contract role with consistent project work for the right person. The Role We're looking for videographers and editors to join our roster. If you do both at a high level, even better, but specializing in one or the other is just as valuable to us. We pair specialists with the right teams for each project. We've got steady work coming in and need more people to handle it. If you're reliable, talented, and a team player, we would love to have you on board! What You'll Be Doing If you're a Videographer/Operator, you'll be:

• Operating camera on commercial shoots (FX3, Komodo, Nikon ZR or your own kit if you prefer)
• Lighting and audio setup with a small crew
• Working from clear shot lists and call sheets If you're an Editor, you'll be:
• Cutting hero films (60-90s), short-form vertical cuts (15-30s), and stills selects
• Color correction, sound editing, and motion graphics
• Delivering edits in 14 days from shoot day, with 2 rounds of revisions Either way:
• Working directly with our director and producer
• Using Frame.io for review and approval
• Project briefs come pre-built — we don't waste your time What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of professional commercial or branded video experience
• Strong portfolio in your specialty (shooting, editing, or both)
• Comfortable on Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut
• Available for shoots in the LA area on weekdays (videographers only)
• Reliable, communicative, can hit deadlines
• Cares about the craft Bonus But Not Required
• Experience shooting or editing medspa, dental, fashion, or athlete content
• Comfortable directing on-camera talent
• Drone certification
• Your own camera kit (FX3, FX6, Komodo, or similar)

Compensation Videographers:

$500

• $1,000 per shoot day, depending on experience and project scope.

• $800 per project, depending on deliverable scope and turnaround.
