The requirements of this position include: Ability to interact well with the public to encourage and support ongoing production of meaningful Community Access Television. Degree in Communications or equivalent experience working at a broadcast or cablecast television station. Familiarity with managing YouTube, Facebook, and other social media platforms. Minimum two years experience in video production and editing. Experience with video playback systems streaming and bulletin board systems. Experience with TriCaster or similar control room switcher. Proficient in Final Cut Pro editing and familiarity with various video and graphic formats.

Responsibilities include:

1. Scheduling playback of all television programs on Public and Government and Educational Access Channels. Maintain weekly logs of all programming and production activity. 2. Programming Community Bulletin Board and maintaining playback schedules and other information on website. 3. Train and support Public Access Users in studio production. 4. Train and support Public Access Users in field video production, including use of portable equipment and editing. 5. Assist in the production of live and recorded shows in the studio, and occasionally assist with or produce shows on location. 6. Support the production of remote shows on Zoom, WebEx, and other video conferencing applications. Support the transfer and conversion of data through file sharing services, such as Dropbox and Google Drive. 7.Assist in providing outreach to communities through Open Houses, distributing promotional information, and attending public events. Encourage ongoing use of Public Access Studio. 8.Record weekly town meetings at various towns and receive video files from towns via Dropbox and televise meeting on channels.
