- the businesses, cars, and travel.
This is a capture-and-organize role:
you shoot, direct on set, and deliver organized footage. A dedicated editor handles all post-production, so your camera work matters more than your After Effects skills. Compensation & Structure $1,800-2,000/month retainer, 1099 contractor 3-month initial term, then month-to-month- rate and days grow as the channels grow Shoot days scheduled at least 72 hours in advance Occasional travel (Atlantic City this September)
- expenses covered, travel days pay 1.5x Duties Plan and execute shoots: batch talking-head sessions, on-location days (land walks, offices, car shoots), lifestyle b-roll, and events Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and wireless microphones to capture high-quality footage Direct on set
- framing, coverage, pacing, and getting the best take out of the talent Record clean, high-fidelity audio using professional wireless mics Upload organized, labeled footage to a shared Google Drive within 48 hours of every shoot Full kit provided: Sony FX30, Lumix GH7, lens set, DJI Osmo Pocket 3, drone, Rode Wireless
- or shoot on your own gear Experience Proven videography experience with a portfolio that shows you can shoot people, not just landscapes Strong camera fundamentals: framing, lighting, focus, movement Disciplined file management
- naming, folders, backups.
Providence Bonus:
FAA Part 107 drone license; editing skills (there's paid upside if you have them) To Apply Include a link to your reel and one line describing how you keep footage organized after a shoot. Applications missing either will be skipped.Pay:
