Ride Between Worlds is an original bilingual musical combining Chinese martial arts, Western cowboy culture, music, dance, and storytelling. We are looking for a Documentary Filmmaker / Videographer to document the journey of this production — not just the final performances, but the people, process, challenges, rehearsals, backstage moments, and community behind the show. What You'll Do Film rehearsals, performances, backstage, load-in, tech, and production moments Capture interviews with the director, cast, musicians, designers, crew, and community partners Tell the story of how an original musical comes to life Capture authentic, emotional, and cinematic behind-the-scenes footage Organize and manage footage for future documentary/editing use Work independently while coordinating with the production team We're Looking For Experience in documentary filmmaking, videography, or storytelling Strong eye for authentic human moments and visual storytelling Ability to shoot high-quality video and clean audio Comfortable filming in live theater, rehearsal, and outdoor environments Reliable, organized, and respectful of performers and the creative process Passion for arts, theater, film, multicultural storytelling, or community-based projects is a plus
Bonus:
Experience with interviews, sound recording, editing, or documentary production.
