Videographer / Video Content Creator Part-Time or Full-Time | Gig Harbor & King County, WA Ariid Group is looking for a creative and dependable Videographer / Video Content Creator to help document our design, construction, remodeling, and interior projects as they progress. The majority of filming will initially take place at an active project in Gig Harbor , with additional filming throughout King County and the greater Seattle area . We're open to different levels of experience and skill. Depending on the candidate, this role may focus primarily on videography with light editing , or it may expand into a broader content role working in collaboration with our existing YouTube video editor . What We Currently Have We already have an established YouTube presence and are actively producing video content.
Our current videos are primarily:
Podcasts Educational conversations Direct-to-camera recordings Interview-style content Design and construction discussions These videos are currently recorded and managed internally , so we are not looking for someone to take over the filming of that content . What we are looking for now is someone who can help us expand into a new type of content: on-location videography that captures our projects while they are actively being designed, built, remodeled, and installed.

What We Want to Add We want to start documenting the real progression of our projects—from the early stages of construction through the final reveal.

Construction progress Demolition and framing Behind-the-scenes jobsite footage Cabinetry and millwork installation Stone and countertop installation Tile, flooring, lighting, and finish work Interior design installations Furniture deliveries and styling Project walkthroughs Conversations with designers, contractors, vendors, and trades Construction and design details Before-and-after transformations Educational content filmed directly on project sites Short-form social media content YouTube project updates Completed project walkthroughs We want someone who can walk onto a jobsite and recognize what is worth capturing. It could be a custom cabinet detail being installed, stone arriving on site, framing changes, a room beginning to take shape, or a designer explaining why a specific decision was made. The goal is to capture the process, craftsmanship, decisions, and transformation behind the finished home. The Role Can Be Structured Around Your Skill SetVideography-Focused Role If your strength is primarily behind the camera, responsibilities may include: Filming scheduled project content Capturing cinematic B-roll Setting up cameras, lighting, and audio Filming conversations and educational segments on site Capturing both vertical and horizontal footage Organizing and transferring footage Light editing Basic color correction Preparing footage for our existing YouTube editor You do not need to be a full-scale video editor to be considered. Videography + Content Editing Role For someone with stronger editing skills, the role may also include: Editing short-form social media videos Creating Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts Developing hooks and video openings Adding captions, music, graphics, and transitions Creating multiple pieces of content from one filming session Editing project update videos Working directly with our existing YouTube editor Helping maintain a consistent visual style across all project content What We're Looking For Strong videography skills A good understanding of composition, lighting, movement, and audio Ability to capture both large architectural spaces and small construction details Understanding of vertical and horizontal video formats Familiarity with social media content Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently on active construction sites Reliable transportation Ability to travel between Gig Harbor and projects throughout King County Experience filming construction, interior design, architecture, remodeling, luxury real estate, or lifestyle content is a strong plus. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software is preferred for candidates interested in the expanded editing role, but it is not required for someone applying primarily as a videographer. Position We're open to either part-time or full-time , depending on the candidate's experience, skill set, availability, and overall fit. This is primarily an on-location position .
