Job Description

316 Empowered Construction is looking for a creative Videographer / Content Creator to document and tell the real story behind building and running a construction company. We specialize in framing, siding, and roofing, and we want to showcase everything — job sites, transformations, team culture, leadership, growth, and the day-to-day reality of running a construction business. This is more than just filming projects. It's about capturing the journey and turning it into compelling content. About the Role You will work directly with ownership to create consistent, high-quality content across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, website, etc.). This includes filming in the field, editing both short-form and long-form content, and using modern tools — including AI — to improve production and workflow. We care more about creativity and vision than years of experience. If you have a strong eye, understand storytelling, and are willing to learn and figure things out on your own, this could be a great fit. Key Responsibilities Film job sites, project progress, and completed work Capture behind-the-scenes content of running a construction company Create short-form content (reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) Edit long-form content (YouTube videos, brand stories, interviews) Add overlays, captions, graphics, music, and clean transitions Use AI tools to assist with editing, captions, and content development Help develop and execute content ideas Maintain consistent quality and posting rhythm What We're Looking For Experience filming and editing is preferred — but not required Must have a creative eye and strong sense of visual storytelling Willing to learn, problem-solve, and improve independently Comfortable using editing software (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, CapCut, or similar) or eager to learn quickly Organized, reliable, and self-motivated Comfortable working in active job site environments Bonus Skills Drone experience is a plus Social media growth experience Branding or marketing knowledge Experience using AI tools in creative workflows Why Join J316 Empowered Construction We are in a growth phase and actively building our brand. This is an opportunity to help shape the digital presence of a company that's expanding in the Spokane and Coeur d'Alene markets. You won't just be editing clips — you'll be documenting the growth of a real business and building a portfolio that reflects that journey. If you're creative, resourceful, and ready to build something meaningful, we'd like to connect. To apply, send your resume and examples of your work (or projects you're proud of).
