The ideal candidate can independently prepare and transmit customs entries, classify products using HTS codes, process FDA/PGA requirements, and troubleshoot clearance issues. CargoWise experience is required. Responsibilities Prepare and transmit customs entries for ocean, air, and truck imports. Process FDA-regulated entries and required PGA documentation. Review invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and supporting import documents. Determine and verify HTS classifications . Handle FDA, USDA, and other PGA requirements. Monitor and resolve FDA holds, exams, documentation requests, and clearance issues. Communicate with clients, carriers, customs officials, and internal teams. Maintain accurate entry records and documentation in CargoWise . Ensure compliance with CBP and applicable import regulations. Qualifications 3-5+ years of Customs Entry Writer experience with a customs broker or freight forwarder. Hands-on FDA entry experience required. Strong knowledge of HTS classification and customs compliance . Experience with FDA, USDA, and other PGA entries. CargoWise proficiency required. Experience with ocean, air, and truck imports. Strong attention to detail and ability to independently manage multiple entries.
