Firearm Description Writer:
You are responsible for writing detailed, accurate descriptions for a wide variety of firearms for purchase. From contemporary to pre-98 arms, your descriptions will be featured in our auctions, catalogs, and other marketing materials, ensuring that each item is presented in an appealing and accurate manner to collectors, enthusiasts, bidders, and consignors. You will be expected to showcase physical characteristics and condition, historical significance, rarity, and market value.
Key Responsibilities:
Write detailed, clear, and accurate descriptions highlighting key attributes. Conduct thorough research on historical context, including the history and lineage. Collaborate with team members to ensure descriptions align with product images. Stay up-to-date with market trends and values of collectibles. Write, proofread, and edit descriptions for clarity, accuracy, and a consistent voice. Written descriptions must engage potential buyers while exuding professionalism and expertise.
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of firearms. Expertise in identifying firearms markings. Familiarity with military, sporting, and collectible firearms. Knowledge of the firearms market. Exceptional ability to translate technical knowledge into clear, engaging, written descriptions. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and produce high-quality content. Strong commitment to detail and accuracy. Ability to research arms utilizing our extensive, in-house library, and online resources. Strong organization skills. Able to multitask effectively.
