Job Description

Job Overview As a Case Manager/Brief writer, you will play a crucial role in supporting operations by providing legal argumentation with supportable documentation. The right candidate will receive training as a case manager and brief writer. A college degree is not necessary and no legal work experience is required. Our firm is looking for someone with great writing experiences and a love for detail. We are a boutique law firm (11 employees) located in Melbourne, Florida that currently represents over 400 clients throughout Central Florida in appeals before the Social Security Administration and in Federal Court.   • Handle cases from start to finish
  • Maintain and organize medical records
  • Meeting with clients to strengthen cases and get treatment updates
  • Lots of Writing/ and reading to defend our claimants in courts
  • Looking into reasons for losses and communicating with Doctors
  • Preparing medical record request Requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage files and documents efficiently
  • Ability to gather relevant information
  • Ability to read and write effectively
  • Ability to utilize
Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Please Note:
Our office is in the midst of expanding we are looking for candidates to do training in Melbourne Florida for about 6 months till our Kissimmee office is opened. They would need to be willing to come to the Melbourne office M-F. Once the second location is pen that employee would reside at the Kissimmee Office.
