Entry Writer/Data Entry & PGA Specialist New Jersey | Full-Time | Logistics & Import Operations Are you an experienced customs entry writer, import entry specialist, or PGA/FDA import specialist looking for your next opportunity? Join our team and play an important role in import entry processing, regulatory compliance and customer service. You'll help ensure import shipments are accurately documented, properly classified and efficiently cleared. What You'll Do Review and organize import files for accuracy and completeness Enter and classify shipment data according to client-specific SOPs Research HTS and product codes Process FDA/PGA requirements, including "may proceed" releases Monitor Customs, FDA and other regulatory releases Communicate documentation requirements and FDA exam notifications to clients Prepare delivery orders and carrier/steamship line instructions Resolve entry, census and bill of lading errors Support the Import Manager with classification and compliance needs Ensure shipments are properly released following clearance Prepare completed files for post-entry processing What We're Looking For 3+ years of entry writing and/or customs brokerage operations experience Experience as a customs entry writer, import entry specialist, or PGA/FDA import specialist Data entry and PGA/FDA experience CargoWise One experience preferred; QuestaWeb a plus Strong knowledge of international geography and ocean ports Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Excellent attention to detail, organization and multitasking skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while providing exceptional customer service High School Diploma or GED required.
