$31.00 - $34.00 per hour Job Overview We are seeking a creative Content Writer to join our team in Neptune City, NJ. This is an immediate temporary opportunity with the potential to become a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of professional writing experience and enjoy creating engaging content across multiple platforms while maintaining each brand's unique voice. Responsibilities Write and edit content for websites, e-commerce, social media, email campaigns, packaging, newsletters, and marketing materials. Maintain brand voice and ensure content is accurate and engaging. Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Optimize website and e-commerce content using SEO, AEO, and GEO best practices. Use AI tools to support the writing and editing process while maintaining editorial quality. Stay current on emerging AI tools and content trends. Conduct keyword research to improve search and e-commerce performance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. 2-3 years of professional content writing experience. Published writing samples or an online portfolio are required. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Experience with e-commerce content is a plus. Understanding of SEO, AEO, and GEO best practices preferred. Experience with keyword research tools such as SEMrush is a plus. Pet industry experience or being a dog or cat owner is a plus. Must have a clear background and drug screening. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
