If you know Customs Brokerage inside and out and you're ready for a role where your experience actually gets put to use, this one's worth a look. We're hiring an Import Manager for a well established Customs Broker and freight forwarder in New Jersey, in business since for decades and growing quick! You'll take the lead on day-to-day Customs Brokerage operations, guide a team of Entry Writers, and be the go-to person when something needs a sharper eye or a faster resolution. It's hands-on, it's fast paced, and it comes with real ownership. What you'll be doing: Overseeing daily Customs Brokerage operations and entry processing Guiding and mentoring a team of Entry Writers Reviewing entries for accuracy and compliance before submission Resolving Customs rejections, RFIs, and compliance issues Jumping in hands-on to file entries when the team needs it Helping shape SOPs and drive process improvements What you bring: 5+ years of Customs Brokerage Operations experience An active U.S. Customs Broker License Experience supervising or mentoring Entry Writers is a big plus Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and import compliance Sharp problem solving skills and a steady head under pressure What's in it for you: $90,000 - $110,000 salary Monday through Friday, standard business hours, no weekends Full medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match A stable, growing company where people stay for the long haul This is the kind of opportunity that doesn't sit open for long.
