Overview We are seeking a motivated and innovative Development Engineer to lead product development projects from concept through production launch. This role works closely with engineering teams, manufacturing, and customers to develop high-quality, cost-effective products and processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Lead product design and development for assigned programs Develop 3D models, BOMs, and engineering drawings Support prototype, pilot, and production launch activities Conduct problem solving and failure analysis (FEA, FMEA, DOE, DFMA) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes Participate in design reviews and customer meetings Maintain engineering documentation and release changes Provide technical support across departments Qualifications Associate Degree in Mechanical Design with 5-10 years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of experience in product development/manufacturing Proficiency in Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD Experience with sheet metal design and flat pattern development Strong understanding of BOMs, routings, and MRP systems Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to travel up to 15% domestically/internationally Preferred Skills Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities Ability to manage multiple projects in a team environment Self-motivated with strong time management skills Experience working with customers and vendors globally Why Join Us?
