Job Description

Diamond Drillers execute precise drilling operations in mineral exploration and extraction. Responsibilities encompass operating drilling machinery, extracting core samples, and maintaining equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations. Diamond core drilling typically runs 24/7, 2 - 12 hour shifts 7 days a week. Your duties and responsibilities in this career Responsibilities Operate drilling machines and equipment to bore holes into the earth or rock formations Monitor drilling operations and adjust equipment as necessary to maintain efficiency and safety Inspect drilling sites to determine the best drilling methods and equipment to use Install and maintain drilling equipment, including drill bits, pumps, and hoses Ensure that all safety procedures are followed, including the use of protective gear and adherence to safety regulations Communicate with other members of the drilling team to coordinate drilling operations and ensure efficiency Keep accurate records of drilling activities, including the depth and angle of drilled holes and any issues or challenges encountered during drilling operations Variable schedule depending on project. 28-14. 12 hr. shifts. Days and Night Shifts. Travel 100% Perdiem Pay based on experience.' '

Work Remotely No Qualifications Must have experience in diamond drilling and be familiar with drilling equipment and techniques. Ability to read and interpret drilling plans and specifications. Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging and remote environments for extended periods of time. Strong attention to safety protocols and the ability to follow safety procedures at all times. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues with drilling equipment. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Willingness to work irregular hours and travel to different job sites as required. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are preferred. Summary As a Diamond Core Driller, you will be instrumental in executing drilling operations with precision and safety on construction sites. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, your role involves utilizing your mechanical knowledge and expertise in horizontal drilling to ensure efficient project completion. Your proficiency in heavy equipment operation and familiarity with MSHA regulations will be vital in maintaining a safe work environment. Additionally, your skills in communication and teamwork will enhance collaboration with other crew members, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
