Diesel Mechanic

Truck Mechanic - Asphalt Paving & Excavating Company Wenger Companies is seeking a dependable and skilled Truck & Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. We are looking for someone experienced in maintaining and repairing diesel trucks and heavy construction equipment in a fast-paced paving and excavating environment. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and heavy equipment Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues Complete repairs efficiently and safely Maintain accurate service and repair records Assist with equipment inspections and fleet upkeep Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Qualifications 3-5 years of mechanic experience preferred Experience with diesel truck maintenance preferred Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of heavy equipment Physically capable of performing maintenance and repair work CDL is not required, but considered a plus Strong work ethic and reliability Compensation & Benefits Full-time position Starting at $55,000 annually Competitive wages Performance bonuses Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off 401(k)
