We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing diesel engines and related systems. This role requires a thorough understanding of industrial equipment, including air brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems. The Diesel Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Duties Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines and related systems. Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections. Assemble and disassemble components as necessary for repairs or replacements. Work with HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality within diesel-powered equipment. Inspect and repair air brake systems to ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain hydraulic systems, including shocks and struts, to guarantee optimal performance. Read and interpret schematics to understand the layout of electrical systems for troubleshooting purposes. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Taking mobile repairs and being presentable and professional when speaking to customers. Also understanding proper systems to make sure very job is done properly. Experience Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role is preferred. Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance practices is essential. Knowledge of air brake systems, hydraulics, shocks, struts, and HVAC is highly desirable. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this position.
