Job Description

$3.00/hour shift differential on weekends! The Dietary Aide supports the dining and nutrition services team by providing excellent hospitality and service to residents and guests. This role ensures that meals are served in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that promotes resident satisfaction and supports their nutritional needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver a high level of hospitality and courteous service during meal periods. Assist in meal service to residents in the dining room and/or deliver trays to apartments as needed. Set up, clear, and sanitize dining areas and workstations before and after meal service. Assist with plating and portioning meals according to diet orders and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room, kitchen, and dishwashing areas. Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines. Restock supplies, condiments, and beverages to ensure efficient service. Communicate resident preferences, concerns, or special requests to supervisors. Support special events, catering, or themed dining experiences as needed. Participate in team meetings and hospitality training to enhance resident engagement. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in hospitality, dining services, or healthcare setting preferred. Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation standards. Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude. Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds during shifts. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
