What will you do as a Dietary Aide Ensure all food procedures are followed. Prepares food using proper food handling and safety techniques Maintains proper temperature of food during preparation and service Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties in food service department Assist in serving meals, beverages, and special items on a timely manner Assist in maintaining food storage areas in a clean and orderly manner Label, dates, and stores food properly Maintain a clean sanitary work area Maintain clean kitchen Equipment Prepare dining room for service Perform dishwashing service and cleaning procedures Prepare and deliver snacks as directed Assure safety and health regulations are being followed Report any complaints to supervisor Report all hazardous conditions or equipment to supervisor Report any abuse immediately to supervisor.
