This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily food service operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and creating a positive dining experience for residents. The ideal candidate will have prior healthcare dietary management experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for providing quality resident care through nutrition and hospitality.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the dietary department Manage dietary staff scheduling, training, and performance Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and infection control standards Maintain food inventory, ordering, and budget management Collaborate with clinical teams regarding resident dietary needs and special diets Ensure meals are prepared and served according to physician orders and regulations Participate in state survey preparedness and compliance efforts Maintain a clean, organized, and resident-focused dining environment

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Dietary Director or Dietary Manager in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred Knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards ServeSafe Certification strongly preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
