Digital Press Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain digital presses to produce print jobs according to specifications
• Review job tickets and verify materials, file accuracy, and finishing requirements before production
• Set up press for proper color, registration, and paper alignment
• Monitor press runs to maintain consistent quality and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Perform routine press maintenance and request service as needed
• Collaborate with prepress and finishing departments to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain accurate records of press operations, including run counts, downtime, and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with production schedules and deadlines
• Inspect finished work for accuracy, color quality, and overall appearance
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce waste

Requirements For Digital Press Operator:

• Proficiency with digital presses (e.g., HP Indigo, Canon, Xerox, or similar)
• Knowledge of color management, RIP software, and file preparation
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets and technical specifications
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
