Direct Care Worker- IDD

Work next week earning up to $19.00/hr. as a Part-time Caregiver access Abilities , a local Homecare agency, is immediately hiring Caregivers to assist individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in Youngwood , PA. Caregivers (IDD Attendants) support disabled adults with household duties and personal care services.

Household duties include:

assisting with laundry, housekeeping, shopping, preparing meals, and running errands.

Personal care services include:

assisting special needs clients with transfers from/to bed, bathing, dressing, grooming and assisting with personal support equipment such as wheelchairs, manual/electric lifts, and leg braces, etc. We offer flexible schedules; work when you are available. Position Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 40 lbs. without assistance and up to 200 lbs. with assistance (hoyer lift)
• Valid driver's license/auto insurance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances

Preferred :

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience as an Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide or Direct Support Professional
• Prior experience with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities Apply Today!
