Direct Hire Full Time Position: Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Financial reporting: Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

A/P & A/R

Processing:

Perform accounts payable, account receivable, and administrative functions for corporate entity in accordance with established policies, procedures, and controls.

Month-end and year-end close:

Assisting with the accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Account reconciliation and analysis:

Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger accounts, analyzing financial records, and resolving discrepancies.

Journal entries:

Preparing and reviewing journal entries to ensure proper recording of financial transactions.

Audits and compliance:

Supporting internal and external audits, including maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

Education:

Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

Experience:

2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

Technical accounting expertise:

Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards and regulations.
