Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with Aspire For Care LLC, where you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities, developmental challenges, or age-related conditions to live fulfilling, independent lives — in the comfort of their own homes. In this rewarding and flexible position, you will provide personalized, one-on-one care within clients' private residences, fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive home environment. Your compassionate approach will help clients achieve their personal goals while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being through attentive daily assistance and health monitoring. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in their home, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor clients' health by observing conditions, taking vital signs as directed, and promptly reporting any changes to supervising healthcare professionals or care coordinators. Administer medications as prescribed in each client's individualized care plan, in full compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect privacy and confidentiality. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks within the client's home kitchen, accommodating dietary preferences and restrictions while maintaining a clean and organized space. Support clients in participating in community outings, social activities, and recreational programs that enhance quality of life and encourage meaningful engagement. Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of care provided, client progress, and any incidents to ensure continuity and consistency of in-home care. Uphold safety standards through routine light housekeeping, infection control practices, and readiness to respond with CPR and first aid when needed. Respect clients' personal space, belongings, and household routines, recognizing that you are a guest in their home and a trusted partner in their care. Qualifications Prior experience in home care, home health aide (HHA) roles, or community-based care settings is highly preferred; experience in group homes or assisted living is also valued. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, autism support, hospice care, or working with individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities is a strong advantage. Certifications such as CPR, first aid, HIPAA compliance training, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credentials are a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks required for client mobility assistance, including safely lifting and transferring clients as needed. Strong communication skills, reliability, and a compassionate, professional attitude — particularly important when working independently in a client's private home. Experience with medication administration, individualized care planning, and client observation in a home or community-based setting is highly desirable. Must be trustworthy, punctual, and comfortable working with minimal on-site supervision while maintaining the highest standard of care. Join us in making a meaningful difference — right where it matters most. At Aspire For Care LLC, we are committed to delivering exceptional, dignified support within the homes of those who need it most. If you are passionate about caregiving and dedicated to helping individuals thrive in their own environment — apply today!
