Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals Administer medications following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual preferences Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and proper infection control practices Support residents during recreational activities, social outings, and community engagement to promote socialization and independence Document care activities accurately in compliance with facility policies and state regulations Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training, and Alzheimer's or dementia care are advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate equipment like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs as needed Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare providers Demonstrated patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities or health challenges Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required Join us in making a difference every day!
