Direct Support Professional - DSP Caregiver - Hiram, Ohio

Consumer Support Services is searching for Direct Support Professionals-DSP's looking to have a positive impact on the life of an individual with developmental disabilities. Our DSP's provide care for daily living skills, including assistance with bathing/dressing, medication administration, housekeeping, cooking, shopping, medical appointments, coach independence skills and encourage social activities; company vehicle available. In return, Consumer Support Services will provide the qualified candidate with a regular bi-weekly schedule with guaranteed hours, a comprehensive benefit package including 401k, paid training, vacation/sick leave, time and a half for holidays and available overtime at time and a half. Starting wage is $16.00 per hour for awake shifts and $11.00 per hour for sleep shifts (yes, you sleep). Qualified applicant must possess a High School Diploma/GED, valid driver's license with less than 5 points, auto insurance and ability to pass background checks and drug screen. Applicants with past experience as a caregiver, direct support professional, resident care associate, direct care staff, home health aide, home care aide, home health care provider, patient care assistant, personal care aide, personal care assistant, personal care attendant, resident care assistant will be a terrific fit for this role.
