Aging with Comfort is a non-medical home care agency serving seniors and disabled adults across Pennsylvania. We are now hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Direct Support Professionals throughout the state of Pennsylvania to provide person-centered care designed to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is an amazing opportunity for professional growth, while making a difference in the lives of the people that we support! No experience required-we provide training.

Starting pay range is:

$15

• 18 an hour

Shifts Available:

Open Availability Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities specific to their Individual Support Plan (ISP).
• Support with daily routines including cleaning, cooking, feeding, and maintaining personal hygiene.
• Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals and immediately report any concerns to supervisor.
• Participate with individuals in community, social, and recreational activities.
• Drive individuals to medical appointments and activities in the community.
• Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely.
• Build a support network for individuals by developing and maintaining relationships with community members, businesses, and families.
• Ensure work locations and vehicles are clean and well maintained to provide a safe environment.
• Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to establish comfortable and supportive relationships with individuals receiving support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.
• DSP training/certification or willingness to complete the online training.
