Direct Support Professional (DSP)

MedSource Community Services, Inc. is a DDA Provider of Residential Services. We are seeking experienced and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals living in our Prince George's County residential homes. This position follows a 7-days-on / 7-days-off live-in schedule , with each shift running Wednesday through Wednesday . Working hours are 6am - 10pm, but must sleep at the home Key Responsibilities Administer medications and monitor individuals' health in accordance with the Medication Administration Training (CMT) program Provide personal care and daily living support Maintain a clean, safe, and home-like environment in accordance with DDA regulations and our internal expectations Schedule and coordinate medical appointments and other health services Maintain and manage individual and household budgets in accordance with program requirements Support participation in community activities and leisure opportunities outlined in the Person Centered Plan (PCP) Encourage the development of positive relationships and community integration Minimum Requirements Valid driver's license Ability to work the 7-day live-in schedule (Wednesday-Wednesday) working 6am-10pm and sleep at the home Comfortable using computers and mobile devices for required documentation and communication Willingness to operate company medical transport vans for appointments and activities Experience in residential services, caregiving, behavioral health, or human services is strongly preferred.
