Direct Support Professional - Part Time Weekends

The Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our mission driven team. You'll help individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities live full, empowered, and independent lives at home and in the community.

Pay:

$17.00 per hour, (sleep shifts $13.00 per hour)

Lucas and Wood County Available Schedules:

Part-Time - Weekends shifts and one day a week

Anticipated Hours:

12-20 hours - 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts (sleep & awake) Responsibilities include assisting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities live their best lives: Provide respectful, person-centered support in daily living tasks Assist with personal care: ambulation, bathing, grooming, toileting, etc. Engage individuals in social, recreational, and community activities Prepare meals, cleaning, laundry, and household tasks Transport individuals safely to appointments or social outings Encourage personal growth and achievement of goals Accurately document activities, incidents, and client progress Communicate professionally with team members, families, and clients Participate in required paid training and team meetings Qualifications you need to thrive in this role: High school diploma or GED Must be 18 years or older Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (fewer than 6 points) Proof of auto insurance Ability to pass BCI/FBI background checks and required screenings Perks & Benefits that are offered: Opportunity for overtime Get paid to sleep for select location/hours Paid time off Attendance bonus 401(k) with matching Life & disability insurances Car repair fund Car rental Pay advances Local Employee Resource Network (Employee assistance program) Referral bonus up to $500 per referral Comprehensive health insurance (medical, employer paid dental and vision) -
