Direct Support Professional (DSP)

What makes this opportunity stand out: A highly supportive, well-run program with strong leadership A variety of shifts to fit different schedules Real opportunity for long-term growth and advancement The chance to work with a client population where you can genuinely make a difference every day What you bring to the table: Solid experience working with individuals with significant behavioral challenges (this is key) Medication Administration Certification (required) Background in Direct Care, Human Services, or similar roles (DSP, CNA, HHA, Residential Counselor, Mental Health Worker, etc.) Confidence in managing behaviors using structured interventions and de-escalation techniques CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain) A valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs You'll also need to be comfortable completing required trainings (Safety Care, CPI/PMT, etc.) and passing a comprehensive background check.   • You'll have a dedicated point of contact at every stage of working with us.
Minimum 6 months of experience in Direct Care or Human Services, or in roles like CNA, Residential Counselor, HHA, Mental Health Worker, Caregiver, childcare worker, PCA, or similar. CPR and First Aid Certification. Willingness to obtain additional on-the-job training in Crisis Prevention Intervention (PMT) techniques, Medication Administration, or Safety Care as required for each worksite. Reliable transportation & active, valid driver's license High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to pass extensive background screening, with agencies like the DCF.
