Directional Drill Operator

Looking for

EXPERIENCED

Directional Drill operator. You must have at least 2 years experience for a machine operator. Please only EXPERIENCED and serious applicants apply.

Responsibilities:

Operates Horizontal Directional Drill for installation and underground conduit Insures safety of public and other underground facilities Performs all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment Set up and cleanup of work-site, including traffic and pedestrian control Reads utility locates and coordinates day lights of these facilities Works with crew to ensure all applicable permits and locates are complete and on site Inspects the work that is in progress to ensure that the workmanship conforms to specifications Operates construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to grade specifications Levels earth to final grade specifications Operates trucks and operational equipment as directed and certified Performs proper maintenance by greasing, oiling, and minor repair work Leads team in the field effectively and efficiently as needed and directed by the supervisor
