Medical Oncology Director shapes healthy work environments through leadership skills, which include clinical, operational, and financial effectiveness. The Medical Oncology Director has direct impact on care and services that patient and families require throughout their health care experience. The Medical Oncology Director achieves a professional culture that successfully recruits and retains expert staff. The Medical Oncology Director is essential for leading change in Medical Oncology. The Medical Oncology Director plays a key role in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety initiatives for the organization. Compliance with regulatory standards and legal processes are critical to the success of this position. The Medical Oncology Director must have a clear understanding of healthcare dynamics and trends. The Medical Oncology Director is responsible for general supervision and leadership of the employees of the Medical Oncology. The Medical Oncology Director must be a positive representative of the organization. This position reports to the Clinic Director.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Must possess a current Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Wyoming. Must have current CPR certification; within 60 days of employment.

Job Knowledge and Skills:

Has working knowledge of Varian Eclipse planning system and ARIA record.
