Job Description

Proven experience in education administration with a focus on early childhood or preschool programs. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Early Age Education to lead and elevate our early childhood education programs. This influential role involves shaping innovative curricula, fostering a nurturing learning environment, and guiding a dedicated team of educators. The director will strategically develop initiatives that promote holistic development for young learners, ensuring high-quality educational experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence. As a key leader, you will oversee program management, drive community engagement, and uphold the highest standards of education administration to make a lasting impact on children's lives. Duties Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of age-appropriate curricula that support early childhood development principles. Develop and execute strategic plans to expand program reach, enhance educational quality, and strengthen community partnerships. Oversee budgeting processes, resource allocation, and fundraising efforts to sustain and grow early education initiatives. Manage and supervise a team of educators, fostering professional growth through mentorship and training. Ensure compliance with local regulations, accreditation standards, and DCDEE regulations and best practices in early childhood education. Organize public speaking engagements, workshops, and community events to promote the importance of early childhood education. Monitor classroom environments to ensure safety, inclusivity, and engaging learning experiences for all students. Lead efforts in curriculum development that incorporate innovative teaching methods and evidence-based practices. Qualifications Level III childcare administrative credential required. Strong background in curriculum development, teaching, and classroom management. Demonstrated success in strategic planning, management, and leadership roles within educational settings. Experience in fundraising activities to support program growth and sustainability. Excellent public speaking skills to advocate for early childhood education initiatives effectively. Supervising experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams of educators. Knowledge of budgeting processes and resource management within educational organizations. Passion for working with young children and understanding their developmental needs. Pay:
$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
