• We are looking to fill an Estimator and Project Manager Position Join an Established Structural Steel Fabricator and Supplier We are seeking experienced professionals with backgrounds in structural steel project management or estimating to join our team.

We are looking for candidates with 5-10 years of experience in the structural steel construction industry who are looking for a long-term opportunity with a stable and growing company. We are open to candidates with expertise in: Structural Steel Project Management Structural Steel Estimating Commercial Steel Construction The ideal candidate will possess strong industry knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. Position Overview This position will play a critical role in managing structural steel construction projects and/or overseeing the estimating and bidding process for commercial and industrial projects. Candidates should have a strong understanding of structural steel fabrication, erection, scheduling, and construction processes from preconstruction through project completion. Project management candidates should be comfortable coordinating all aspects of active projects, while estimating candidates must have direct experience managing the full bidding and takeoff process for structural steel construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management Responsibilities Manage structural steel construction projects from award through completion Coordinate with fabricators, detailers, erectors, general contractors, and vendors Monitor project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule Maintain strong communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams Resolve project issues and maintain overall project flow Estimating Responsibilities Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for structural steel construction projects Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents Perform material takeoffs and labor calculations Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing Manage the complete bidding process from bid invitation through submission Identify scope gaps, project risks, and value engineering opportunities Collaborate with operations and project management teams during project turnover Qualifications 5-10 years of experience in structural steel construction, project management, or estimating Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes Experience managing commercial or industrial steel construction projects preferred Estimating candidates must have experience with the full structural steel bidding process Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience with construction estimating and project management software preferred Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required What We Offer Competitive compensation package Performance bonus opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) / retirement plan Career advancement opportunities Stable and growing company environment Collaborative and team-oriented culture Why Join Us?
