auberge.com/mauna-lani Follow Mauna Lani on Facebook and Instagram @MaunaLaniAuberge Job Description The base annual salary range for this role is: $100 - $115k Directs and administers programs to maximize revenue/yield management with a strong emphasis on tee sheet management, membership sales, and external partner development. Supervises golf department leaders, including but is not limited to, Head Professional / Operations Assistant Manager, Assistant Golf Professionals, Golf Sales Coordinator, Golf Services Team, etc. Executes planning, sales and marketing for Annual Golf Memberships and other property initiatives, such as Sports & Racquet Club, and Beach Club Membership programs. Assists in developing, implementing, and monitoring annual budget, revenue goals, and expenses.. Provides timely and accurate reporting of all financial and non-financial information as directed, requested, or required by management or representatives. Monitors monthly and other financial reports/statements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for the facility and takes effective corrective action when necessary. Develops, maintains, and administers sound organizational plans and initiates improvements as necessary. Work closely with all of the hotel departments to maximize total property revenue. Conduct effective hiring, training, coaching, and counselling according to hotel policies. Creates a service-oriented atmosphere that promotes the game of golf and exceeds the expectations of guests. Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve a high level of guest satisfaction. Oversees the care and maintenance of all the facility's physical assets. Assists in developing and executing the golf marketing and membership plans. Ensures the highest standards of quality for food and beverage service on golf courses. Implements policies and procedures for the Golf Department, including compliance of all company standards relating to quality of products and services. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Provides leadership and vision to golf staff, building people, and preparing them for career advancement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BA); or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Member in good standing of the PGA of America or LPGA of America. Experience as a Director of Golf in a Four or Five Star / Diamond Resort is preferred. Experience with a diversity of golf course operations such as resort, private and/or semi-private. Thorough understanding of the Golf Retail industry. Must be driven, professional, and have excellent communication skills. Strong business acumen with demonstrated skills. A demonstrated passion for high levels of guest services, and exceeding expectations. Great computer skills required, including experience with Microsoft Office, tee time reservations, POS, retail inventory, and familiarity with Web based golf partners.
