Director of Infrastructure Projects and Facilities

GatherGrounds acquires underperforming campgrounds and repositions them as amenity-rich family destinations with high quality infrastructure. We own three properties across Michigan and Ohio and are actively growing. This is a corporate role that travels between our parks in Southwest Michigan and our location in Northeast Ohio, and owns the capital improvement and infrastructure side of our business. What You Will Do Plan and execute major capital projects across our portfolio: inflatable water park installations, electrical upgrades, building renovations, sewer and septic improvements, well replacements, and amenity additions like playgrounds and inflatable attractions. You will source bids, manage subcontractors, work with the operations team on in house projects to coordinate availability of the maintenance and grounds crews, and represent ownership on job sites. During peak camping season you shift into property condition assessments and forward project planning. This role is active year round. What We Are Looking For Five or more years of hands-on experience in construction, trades, or facilities management. You have personally performed or supervised the types of work listed above. Strong subcontractor management skills. Comfortable making technical decisions independently. High attention to detail is critical as our projects require precise execution to ensure compliance with various regulatory agency requirements. Able to move on incomplete information and solve problems in the field. Clean driving record required. Campground, resort, or outdoor hospitality experience is a plus but not required. Compensation and Benefits Base salary $57,000 to $63,000 depending on experience. Annual performance bonus up to $20,000 tied to project execution quality, budget, and timeline. OTE at full bonus is $77,000 to $83,000. Company truck, 401(k) match, ancillary benefits, and monthly healthcare stipend included.
