SUPERMARKET FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

We are actively seeking several Refrigeration Service Techs in a state wide area and including Akron OH, Cleveland OH, Dayton OH, Toledo OH, Cincinnati OH, and Columbus OH. Must have a Universal class, or Type II EPA certification. The job candidate must have good communication skills and be able to interact in a professional manner with customers and our home office. Responsibilities include conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting supermarket, warehouse, and or industrial refrigeration equipment. Specific duties to include diagnosis, and repair of commercial refrigeration equipment, and certain repairs to other electrical/mechanical supermarket equipment. Preferred to have basic knowledge of refrigeration controllers such as CPC, Danfoss, and Novar, but not required. Must be able to change out compressors (including being able to silver solder braze), fan motors and other electrical controls, using your own hand tools. Specific tools such as torch outfits, vacuum pumps, refrigerant recovery equipment shall be company provided. A fully equipped service truck shall be provided to each qualified service tech. Must be able to read electrical control circuit diagrams and be able to document field changes to equipment both on wiring diagrams and work orders.
