Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Director of Operations at
CITY WIDE FACILITY SOLUTIONS
is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery. This role involves strategic planning, managing resources, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The Director of Operations plays a crucial role in aligning operations with the company's goals and objectives, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement operational strategies that support the company's objectives and enhance service delivery. Oversee the management of resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness. Lead and mentor a team of operations managers and staff, promoting professional development and high performance. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve communication and workflow. Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale operations in a facility solutions or similar industry. Experience in strategic planning and execution to drive operational excellence.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve organizational goals. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify operational inefficiencies and implement effective solutions. Proficient in budget management and financial analysis to optimize resource allocation and cost control. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance productivity and ensure compliance with industry standards. Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines. Proficiency in using operations management software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
