Job Description

We're a growing multi-location café business and we need someone who can actually run it — not just manage it. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for everything: operations, people, systems, and the guest experience across all of our locations. We've built something real. Now we need the right person to help us stabilize, scale, and grow it the right way. This isn't a desk job. We need an operator — someone who's just as comfortable fixing a problem on the floor as they are reviewing a P&L. What you'll own: Day-to-day operations Oversee daily operations across all locations and make sure things actually run smoothly Hold the line on brand standards, product quality, and the guest experience Manage opening/closing, cash handling, and shift execution Handle real-time issues, and build systems so the same issue doesn't happen twice Team & people Hire, train, and lead store managers and staff across locations Build staffing plans that actually reflect how the business runs Create training systems for baristas, kitchen staff, and supervisors Hold people accountable with clarity, consistency, and follow-through Conduct regular performance reviews and invest in your team's growth Inventory & vendors Manage ordering, vendor relationships, and stock levels across all locations Oversee our central inventory system (PowerPlant Central) and keep it accurate Reduce waste and shrinkage, and track it so you can prove it Systems & process Build and optimize operational systems — Square POS, scheduling, inventory, KDS Write and enforce SOPs for every key function: opening, closing, ordering, training Standardize workflows so quality doesn't depend on who's working that day Growth & expansion Support new location openings and make sure rollout actually sticks Build systems that scale — so growth doesn't break what's working Spot opportunities to grow revenue and cut inefficiency How we'll measure success Locations running well without owner involvement in day-to-day decisions Consistent profitability across the business, revenue up, costs managed Strong supervisors and teams in place at each location Clear systems and processes that hold up as we grow Guest experience that's noticeably better and more consistent Required 5+ years in multi-unit food & beverage or retail operations Real P&L experience Proven track record building systems and improving operations Strong leadership with high accountability Operator mindset — you get things done Helpful Coffee shop or café background Square POS, 7shifts, or similar tools Experience scaling or turning around a multi-location business

$60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
