Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Director of Pharmacy Job Type Contract Lead pharmacy operations as Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacist in Charge at a behavioral health facility supporting an average daily census of 40 patients. This contract role requires a Michigan pharmacist license in good standing and offers the opportunity to oversee pharmacy services in a specialized behavioral health setting. The current Director of Pharmacy's last day is May 22nd, and coverage is needed immediately for approximately eight weeks or until a permanent position is filled.

Byron Center, MI Nearest Airport:
Gerald Ford International Airport (GRR)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Saturday remote coverage, 9:00 AM - 11:00
AM Key Responsibilities:
Serve as Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacist in Charge Perform order verification to ensure accuracy and compliance Maintain pharmacy inventory efficiently Manage pharmacy operations without technician support Oversee implementation and use of HCS order entry system (experience preferred) Utilize Omnicell automation to enhance workflow (experience preferred) Support pharmacy services tailored to behavioral health patients
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Michigan pharmacist license in good standing Experience with order entry systems, preferably HCS Familiarity with Omnicell automation technology Prior experience working in behavioral health pharmacy setting is a plus Ability to work independently and manage pharmacy operations solo
