Condominium Director of services - Job Description The Condominium Director of Services is responsible for overseeing all aspects of activities programming, facility operations, management and community engagement within Summer Winds condominium's Sport Complex and Ginger's Cafe facilities. This role blends activities management, food and beverage management, facility management, and community leadership to ensure safe, well-run, and high-quality cafe and activities programs. Job Overview The Director manages the design, implementation, evaluation of menus, activities and recreation programs for all age groups, coordinates with Executive Director, HOA Board of Directors, residents, staff, external partners, and ensures compliance with regulations. The position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to balance activities excellence with community needs.

Key Responsibilities Program Development & Management :

Create, implement, evaluate activities and recreation programs to meet resident needs.

Staff & Volunteer Supervision :

Manage staff and volunteers; conduct performance evaluations.

Facility Operations :

Oversee safety and compliance with health, safety, and facility standards.

Budget & Financial Management :

Help prepare and manage budgets for sports complex and Ginger's Cafe.

Marketing & Community Engagement :

Promote programs and built relationships with residents, renters and their guests.

Compliance & Safety :

Ensure adherence to local, state regulations, maintain proper facility inspections.

Conflict Resolution :

Address resident and staff concerns; resolve disputes related to programs or facilities. Keep open communication with Executive Director and HOA Board of Directors.

Vendor & Contract Management :

Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, service providers, and equipment suppliers.

Qualifications & Skills Experience :

1-3+ years in sports, food and beverage, recreation, or facility management; experience in a condominium or community setting preferred.

Skills :

Leadership, event planning, budgeting, communication, problem-solving, and community relations.

Certifications :

CPO certified preferred, ServSave certified preferred, CPR certified preferred or be able to be certified on the first 90 days of employment. Work Environment The role is full-time, often requiring weekend and evening hours for events, activities, and facility operations. The Director works closely with residents, board members, and external partners to ensure the Sport Complex and Ginger's Cafe are a safe, engaging, and well-maintained community asset. In summary , the Condominium Sport Complex Director is both an activity program leader and a community liaison, ensuring that services, and recreational activities are well-organized, safe, and aligned with the condominium's mission and values.

Pay:

$44,900.00 - $46,000.00 per year
