Part-time Assistant Construction Warehouse Manager

This Assistant Manager is responsible for warehouse operations. This person will receive and unload materials, stage products by job, and deliver materials to job sites. This person's main responsibility is to ensure that all materials are ready to meet project dates. Secondary responsibility is to support the Operations team performing basic construction demolition and carpentry work. This position requires lifting 50-75 lbs and driving a fork lift. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for warehouse upkeep, managing inventories, and ensuring fork lift in good working condition. This part-time position is 20-25 hours per week from 8a-12p. Potential advancement could include construction roles.

Warehouse Responsibilities:

1. Manage product flow under the Office Manager's supervision, including: a. Receive products from transports (physically) and check materials received with the Purchase Orders b. Ensure inventory items in-stock c. Stage customer-specific materials by project d. Deliver materials to job sites 2. Keep the warehouse up-to-date a. Cleanliness (sweep, dry vac, keep all sections of the warehouse organized, etc.) b. Restock materials (ex. opened bags of grout, tile returned from jobs) c. Run nail magnet around loading dock and dumpsters d. Work with Office Manager to maintain forklift and hand-truck (charging, propane, schedule maintenance as needed) 3.

After warehouse work completed:

a. Make runs to customers, suppliers, landfill, and Habitat for Humanity as needed b. Support Operations team in the field performing basic carpentry work
