Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools to uphold health and safety standards Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies or prepping ingredients when needed Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely dishwashing during peak hours and special events Follow safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and operating dishwashing equipment Keep inventory of dishware and notify management of any shortages or damages Skills Strong understanding of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail Knowledge of kitchen operations including bussing, cleaning, and basic food preparation Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant hospitality environment where your efforts directly contribute to memorable guest experiences.
