Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, kitchen utensils, and cooking equipment to ensure smooth kitchen operations. This role provides an essential support function within our food service environment, contributing to a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality settings is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable kitchen experience and develop skills in food handling, cleaning, and basic food preparation. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of cleaned items. Assist with bussing tables and clearing food service areas as needed. Support food preparation activities by handling basic cleaning tasks in the kitchen. Ensure all items are properly organized for efficient use during service periods. Follow all safety procedures related to food handling and sanitation protocols. Assist with general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to uphold hygiene standards. Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with bussing tables, food preparation, or culinary tasks is a plus. Familiarity with cleaning procedures within a commercial kitchen setting is advantageous. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is beneficial. This role is vital to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency within our establishment.
