Dishwasher Job Summary The Dishwasher is responsible for general and specific cleaning task in the kitchen areas, including transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and service ware in order to provide kitchen staff with appropriate equipment. Position also requires cleaning of physical surroundings as well as putting away and organizing stock areas. Work hours/days vary as dictated by business needs and may include weekends and holidays. Job Duties Promptly and carefully sort dishes so that they can be put through the dish machine properly. Quickly wash all ware and replace in storage areas as designated. Thorough understanding of dish machine operation for optimal use. Clean and dry floors to avoid slip/fall accidents. Clean, organize and maintain trash area on an ongoing basis. Maintain and enforce sanitation laws and safety standards with anyone entering the kitchen area. Label and store product deliveries as necessary. Separate and organize garbage and recycling as required. Set up and organize workstation with designated supplies and equipment: report shortages to supervisor. Replenish as needed. Able to understand MSDS sheets and know location of book. Support of and participate in t he recycling and sanitation programs. Watch for safety hazards and report them immediately to your Department Supervisor. •All responsibilities are not limite d to those listed above

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Valid Oregon Food Handlers Certificate Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to work upwards of 8+ hour shifts Have reliable transportation out to the lodge. Able to pass a background check. Able to work with little or no supervision. Operate equipment such as, but not limited to, dishwasher, sprayer, and kitchen equipment.
