JOB DUTIES

• Dishwashers are responsible for washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans using the dishwasher, or three sink.
• Keeping the dishwashing area clean, organized, and free of clutter, including floors, storage areas, and equipment.
• Organize and store sanitized dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment properly.
• Trash removal, recycling, and kitchen waste, ensuring proper disposal.
• Restocking dishwashing supplies and report any needs to the kitchen supervisor.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and other equipment in the dishwashing area.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards and procedures, including maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Organization and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork and communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
• Follow instructions and procedures, including sanitation and safety protocols.
