REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 18 years old.
- Oregon Food Handlers Card obtained within 30 days of your hire date.
JOB DUTIES
- Check TCS ( Time/Temperature Control for Safety) food temps throughout shift as needed.
- Change sanitization solution when soiled or expired.
- Cook menu items precisely according to standardized recipes and specifications.
- Safely and efficiently operate various kitchen appliances and equipment, such as grills, ovens, microwaves, salamanders, fryers, and stoves.
- Maintain high standards for food quality, freshness, and presentation on all dishes.
- Set up and stock the line with necessary supplies, ingredients, and equipment at the start of a shift.
- Keep the workstation, kitchen, and equipment clean, organized, and sanitized throughout service and at the end of the shift.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages, and assist in managing food storage and waste.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards and regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team with other kitchen staff and report to Manager on duty.
- Maintain positive communication within the kitchen to ensure timely and organized order preparation.
- Plate and garnish dishes according to the restaurant's standards and instructions.
- Be willing to perform various tasks as needed, such as cleaning dishes and maintaining equipment.
