Job Summary:
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • Oregon Food Handlers Card obtained within 30 days of your hire date.
JOB DUTIES
  • Check TCS ( Time/Temperature Control for Safety) food temps throughout shift as needed.
  • Change sanitization solution when soiled or expired.
  • Cook menu items precisely according to standardized recipes and specifications.
  • Safely and efficiently operate various kitchen appliances and equipment, such as grills, ovens, microwaves, salamanders, fryers, and stoves.
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, freshness, and presentation on all dishes.
  • Set up and stock the line with necessary supplies, ingredients, and equipment at the start of a shift.
  • Keep the workstation, kitchen, and equipment clean, organized, and sanitized throughout service and at the end of the shift.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages, and assist in managing food storage and waste.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards and regulations.
  • Work effectively as part of a team with other kitchen staff and report to Manager on duty.
  • Maintain positive communication within the kitchen to ensure timely and organized order preparation.
  • Plate and garnish dishes according to the restaurant's standards and instructions.
  • Be willing to perform various tasks as needed, such as cleaning dishes and maintaining equipment.
