Part Time Air Driver

Part-Time Air Driver Join the team behind one of the most recognized logistic companies in the world. As a UPS package delivery driver, you'll drive one of our iconic UPS brown trucks, delivering packages to businesses and homes in your community. This job will keep you active in a fast-paced environment, working indoors and outdoors. Our drivers are friendly and prioritize safety while behind the wheel and with customers. Part-time air delivery drivers typically work four hours per day and 20 hours per week. Duties Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver goods along assigned routes Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring their delivery needs are met Load, secure, and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines for heavy lifting and moving heavy items Follow route schedules precisely, making timely deliveries while navigating traffic and road conditions effectively Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and incident reports as required Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar vehicles Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Warehouse experience including loading/unloading cargo, using forklifts or pallet jacks is highly desirable Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks safely Familiarity with route driving, load securing techniques, and safety procedures for heavy lifting and moving equipment Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations relevant to commercial driving is essential Embark on a rewarding journey with us where your driving skills make a difference!
