Duties Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including ingredient handling and setup. Support catering and banquet operations by providing timely dishwashing support during events. Help with bussing tables and clearing plates to facilitate smooth food service flow. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene compliance. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations. Basic understanding of kitchen operations including bussing, food preparation, and serving is a plus.
